WME has signed Katie Atkin and her country music podcast and digital brand Girls in Low Places for global representation.
Founded in 2024, Girls in Low Places has seen significant growth, now reaching a community of more than 100,000 followers. The multifaceted media platform combines humor, personality and a unique perspective to give fans a closer look at country music through candid artist conversations and much more. Over the past year, they have featured conversations with Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Shaboozey, HARDY, Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Zach Top and more.
“Girls in Low Places was built around the idea of creating a home for girls in country music, a place where female voices, stories and perspectives are celebrated, supported and given room to be heard,” shared Atkin. “What started as a passion project, has grown into an incredible community, and I’m so proud of what we’ve built together. Partnering with WME feels like such an exciting next chapter. Their belief in our vision and what Girls in Low Places can become gives us the opportunity to dream bigger and continue building this platform in ways we’ve only begun to imagine. Let’s go girls…we’re just getting started.”
“Katie has created something truly distinctive with Girls in Low Places, said WME’s Lindsey Dodge. “The growth she has achieved in such a short time is remarkable, and our entire team is excited to represent Katie and Girls in Low Places as they expand across media, live experiences and new opportunities around the world.”
