Warner Chappell Music and Cornman Music Sign Luke Stevens
Warner Chappell Music (WCM) Nashville and Cornman Music have signed a global publishing deal with Luke Stevens.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have such a great team with true champions of songwriters around me at Cornman and Warner Chappell,” shares Luke Stevens. “Cornman felt like home and Chris and Nate felt like family the minute I met them. Let’s get to work!”
“Luke is a special talent. He’s a wise, hard working, genuine, and passionate student of country music,” adds Christina Wiltshire, VP, A&R, WCM Nashville. “I feel grateful to be a part of his first publishing deal because I just know he’s going to do big things in our community.”
Born and raised in Oklahoma, singer-songwriter Luke Stevens first began performing in the music scene of Stillwater, Oklahoma. After relocating to Nashville in 2021, he worked as a bartender at The Listening Room while simultaneously honing his craft as a songwriter, eventually taking the stage at venues like the legendary Bluebird Cafe. Since then, he has focused entirely on his music, developing the authentic storytelling style that defines his sound today.
“When I first heard Luke’s songs, I immediately took notice. His concepts and melodies are incredibly special and he’s such a student of the game,” shares Chris Owen, Creative Director, Cornman Music. “Nate Lowery and I are thrilled to work with him!”
