Warner Chappell Music (WCM) and Southern Pacific Music have signed a publishing deal with folk-pop singer-songwriter Tristan Bushman. Known for his rich voice and soulful melodies, he’s become a highly respected singer-songwriter, musician, and performer, quickly captivating audiences. Bushman’s new solo effort, The Way Things Are Going, is set to be released November 15.

“I have been a huge fan of Tristan since the moment I met him six years ago,” said Bethany Mako, Manager, A&R, WCM Nashville. “He’s a natural-born storyteller and has a way of captivating any room with his unique voice and poetic lyrics. On top of that, he’s simply a great human, and I am truly honored to be a part of his journey.”

Erland Wanberg, Co-Founder and CEO, Southern Pacific Music, shared: “Tristan is a gifted songwriter who can turn a simple phrase or concept into an intricate, timeless work of art. From his extraordinary solo work to his artistic contribution to Verygently (the coolest damn band in Nashville!), I’m honored to be a part of his exciting journey and inevitable success as a creator.”

Born and raised in Ashton, Illinois, Tristan Bushman is a natural-born performer. He first took the stage at just five years old and has pursued his dream ever since. In 2018, he moved to Nashville to focus on music full-time and earlier this year, he teamed up with Joey Hendricks and Drew Erwin to form the trio Verygently. Together they’ve toured with acts such as Augustana, Sean McConnell, and The Band Camino.
