Jay Webb Inks Deal With Sony Music Publishing

Country breakout singer-songwriter Jay Webb has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing. The announcement arrives alongside news of Webb’s highly anticipated second album Where To Find Me, which will be released on July 25.

An Alabama native, Webb grew up bouncing between the country backroads and the city streets, turning to music to make sense of a turbulent upbringing. He began writing songs as a teenager, creating demos in his bedroom and releasing tracks independently while building a grassroots fanbase one song at a time.

“Jay Webb is a superstar in the making,” says Sony Music Publishing Nashville EVP of A&R Josh Van Valkenburg. “His authenticity resonates with an audience that’s fighting through the same struggles he so vulnerably sings about from his own life experience. He’ll also drop an anthem on you that’s perfect for a hot day on a pontoon boat. It’s an honor to be a part of his journey and to champion his songwriting career.”

“Songwriting is where the magic happens, and it’s always been my goal to write music that real people can relate to,” adds Webb. “To now have the chance to do that with Sony is a dream come true. Josh was one of the first people I met in Nashville and has been a huge mentor of mine since day one. I’m grateful for his belief in me and excited to see what we can build together!”

Earlier this month, Webb showcased his knack for raw and relatable songwriting in his latest release “One More Shot.” The stark, soul-cutting ballad captures the emotional toll of trying to numb life’s low points through the bottom of a bottle, compelling All Country News to note his voice “feels equal parts gravel and gospel, Webb doesn’t just sing about the struggle, he lives in it,” serving as a preview of what’s to come on Where To Find Me.

Out July 25, the 10-song collection leans into the gritty, honest and sometimes wild corners of real life – the kind of storytelling Webb’s fans have come to expect. The album follows a string of fan-favorite 2025 releases, including “Summer In America” and “Love Me Tonight,” which landed on SiriusXM’s The Highway.

After wrapping his 12-city The Low Life Tour this spring, Webb proves he isn’t here to follow the rules, he’s rewriting them. With 415M+ global streams and a loyal fanbase of 2M+ built entirely from the ground up, he’s bringing his raw, genre-blurring sound to the forefront of a new generation of country artists.
