Emerging Girl Group Just Jayne Releases New Track

This past Friday, country girl group Just Jayne released upbeat summer anthem “The Way We Were.” Written by trio members Taylor Edwards, Rachel Wiggins and Jillian Steele alongside Pablo Bowman, Feli Ferraro and Mark Schick, the track reflects on an old flame after seeing them move on. The resonating track highlights the girls’ harmonies, creating the perfect feel-good song to add to summer playlists.

“This is one of our favorite songs,” shares Just Jayne. “This one tells the story of a memorable love that grew fast and is hard to forget. We’ve loved playing this live for y’all and we’re so excited it’s finally out in the world! We hope you love it as much as we do.”

This release marks the trio’s fourth release ever, after dropping their debut single “This Morning” in February. The debut was followed by country ballad “New Boots” and their happy-go-lucky love song “All Backroads.”

Building momentum, Just Jayne continues to make their mark in Music City after performing for a crowd on the street during CMA Fest after their set at the Good Molecules Reverb Stage was canceled due to inclement weather. The trio has also performed at Whiskey Jam, Nashville Briefing’s Artists to Watch showcase, Hoofbeat Festival and recently wrapped their opening slot on Maddie & Tae’s Love & Light Tour in major cities including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Next, the group will join Billy Currington this August for select dates.
