Drew Baldridge Celebrates RIAA GOLD-Certified Single

Drew Baldridge gathered with friends, family and industry supporters at Sony Music Publishing on April 16 to celebrate the RIAA GOLD-certification of his hit single “She’s Somebody’s Daughter.” This is Baldridge’s first GOLD-certified record and first Top 40 song as this week it is No. 32 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and No. 33 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart.

Hosted by Sony Music Publishing CEO Rusty Gaston, the intimate celebration featured a performance by Baldridge while guests enjoyed snacks and cocktails while giving cheers to the singer/songwriter’s success. Gaston has been a mentor and guiding light for Baldridge since they began working together over a decade ago.

“She’s Somebody’s Daughter” was written by Baldridge alongside Cameron Jaymes and Jimmy Yeary– and produced by Nick Schwarz – all of whom were in attendance at the celebration. Most importantly, the inspiration for the song, his wife Katherine joined in on the fun with their son Lyric.

Baldridge has reached these career benchmarks with a lot of perseverance and belief in himself and his music. The independent powerhouse is pushing the song up the radio charts through his own promo team at Lyric Ridge Records, a feat rarely accomplished without the backing of a major label. “She’s Somebody’s Daughter” has amassed over 500M streams and social media impressions and continues breaking through with organic fan engagement.
