Carnegie Hall Presents "An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry"
Nashville’s legendary Grand Ole Opry, marking 100 years of American entertainment, is making a rare visit to New York’s Carnegie Hall for a special night of country music, “An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry,” on March 20, 2026. The evening is part of Carnegie Hall’s United in Sound: America at 250 festival reflecting on the 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Tickets to United in Sound: America at 250 events can now be added to current and new Carnegie Hall subscription packages for the 2025-2026 season and purchased as part of a Create Your Own subscription series.
Single tickets go on sale to the general public on August 11 at 11:00 a.m. The August 11th on sale will be a limited release for fans to get early access to this special evening. Additional tickets to “An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry” will be released when the artist line-up is confirmed at a later date. Tickets can be purchased at carnegiehall.org, by calling 212-247-7800, and at the Carnegie Hall Box Office.
The March 20, 2026 show will mark the fourth time headlining performance by the Opry including previous visits in 1947, 1961 and 2005.
In more than 35 concerts as part of the United in Sound festival at Carnegie Hall, audiences will experience Broadway, jazz, film music, rock ‘n’ roll, hip-hop, bluegrass, classical, country, and so much more, showcasing the very best of the American spirit through music. Performances include Marin Alsop, American Composers Orchestra, Timo Andres and Aaron Diehl, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Brooklyn Rider, Ray Chew, Dover Quartet, Michael Feinstein, The Knights, Kronos Quartet, The Met Orchestra, aja monet, The New York Pops, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Davóne Tines, and many others, as well as “An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry.”
In 2026, the Opry will continue to celebrate 100 years of unforgettable performances by honoring the past, showcasing the present, and shaping the future of country music through one-of-a-kind live shows.
Ongoing OPRY 100 celebrations include:
“Opry 100 Honors” series of shows, sponsored by Dan Post, paying tribute to several of the icons who have helped shape the Opry’s first century: “Opry 100 Honors Porter Wagoner” (August 12), “Opry 100 Honors Bill Monroe” (September 16), “Opry 100 Honors Minnie Pearl and Roy Acuff” (October 18), and more to be announced for 2026.
Opry’s first-ever live international broadcast from London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on September 26 featuring Opry members Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Darius Rucker and Marty Stuart.
During the month of October, the Opry will celebrate its “Rhinestone Milestone” birthday all month with birthday shows, plaza parties, special fan activations, surprises, and more.
On November 28, the Opry will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its November 28, 1925 inaugural broadcast with an all-star Opry member show. More details to come.
