Tyler Hubbard Celebrates 2x #1 Party

BMI gathered Tyler Hubbard alongside other creatives and industry professionals to celebrate the artist’s #1 hits “Back Then Right Now” and “Park” at the new Moto Moda on Thursday (November 6). “Park,” the second single from his latest album Strong, marks his fourth consecutive hit as a solo artist and 23rd career #1.
Hosted by BMI and ASCAP, the celebration honored Hubbard alongside his collaborators on both tracks, which he co-produced alongside Jordan Schmidt. Emceed by BMI’s MaryAnn Keen, the afternoon kicked off with “Park,” co-written by Hubbard, 2X BMI Country Songwriter of the Year Jesse Frasure, Ashley Gorley and Canaan Smith. Each songwriter shared grateful remarks to all involved in the song’s success, which is Frasure’s 25th #1, Gorley’s 76th and Smith’s second.
The celebration continued with “Back Then Right Now,” co-written by Hubbard with Jessie Jo Dillon, the reigning ACM Songwriter of the Year, GRAMMY-nominated hitmaker Geoff Warburton and David Garcia. The Gold-certified hit is Dillon’s eighth #1, Warburton’s fourth and Garcia’s 25th. Sponsored by Studio Bank, Kari Barnhart made a special donation presentation on behalf of Hubbard and the songwriters in support of For Others, an organization that raises awareness and empowers best-in-class organizations to end the child welfare crisis in America.
