Teri Nelson Carpenter & Team Launches New Publishing Division
Teri Nelson Carpenter (CEO), Madison Policastri (A&R Manager), and Cooper Carr (Producer/A&R Coordinator) have launched a new publishing division under the parent company Reel Muzik Werks called 507 Publishing.
Based in Nashville, Tennessee, 507 Publishing will be home to writers, artists, and producers in the Country, Pop, Rock, and Contemporary Christian Music markets. Teri Nelson Carpenter launched the parent company, Reel Muzik Werks, in 2009 in Los Angeles as a Film/TV music company with a specialty in international rights management. Since moving to Nashville, Carpenter has dug her heels into the publishing community and grown her business.
“507 Publishing will steer Reel Muzik Werks in a direction of artistic growth in many ways,” Teri says. “I’m so excited about the future of this new endeavor, where great music will emerge from our new slate of creatives.”
The 507 Publishing A&R team consisting of Madison Policastri and Cooper Carr are excited to be a part of this company’s new chapter.
Madison Policastri has been added to the 507 Publishing team to lead the A&R department. After launching her career at Demolition Music Publishing and moving to Red Street Records, she joined the team in May 2024 to handle session booking, song plugging, label services, and artist/songwriter development.
Cooper Carr joined the team after interning with Reel Muzik Werks for several months. After honing his craft as a freelance music producer, songwriter, and audio engineer, he is bringing that expertise to his new role at 507 Publishing. He has stepped into the role of A&R Coordinator/Producer where he assists in session booking, song plugging, and producing music for the catalog.
“It’s not every day you get the privilege of working with such incredible talent. I am looking forward to exceptional music and opportunities from our young and innovative team,” Teri remarks.
The 507 Publishing team will be welcoming a roster of skillfully and sonically diverse creatives, with the first signings to be announced very soon.
