Gavin Adcock Sets Release Date For New Album

Gavin Adcock concluded his major-label debut album cycle in the only way that the buzzworthy singer-songwriter knows how; by announcing the release date for his brand-new album, Own Worst Enemy, set to release August 15th.

To coincide with the album announcement, Adcock released a new song from the forthcoming project, “Last One To Know,” which he wrote alongside Jack Rauton, Erik Dylan and Luke Laird. In addition to “Last One To Know,” Adcock’s songs “Loose Strings,” “Need To,” “Unlucky Strikes,” “Never Call Again,” “On One,” “Almost Gone” (feat. Vincent Mason), and “Morning Bail” are listed among the 24 songs that comprise Own Worst Enemy.

The upcoming project will drop just over a year after his thunderous album Actin’ Up Again released worldwide and subsequently was crowned the largest major-label country debut from a solo male artist released in 2024, with more than 15 million on-demand U.S. streams the week of release. Collectively, Adcock’s releases thus far have pushed the rebel-rouser over the billion global streams mark on top of receiving a surprise on-stage during CMA Music Fest 2025 (June 6th) with four RIAA certification plaques: “A Cigarette” (Platinum), “Run Your Mouth” (Gold), “Deep End” (Gold), and “Four Leaf Clover” (Gold), marking a major milestone in his breakout career.

Throughout the meteoric year in between both of Adcock’s albums, the Georgia native has won over the hearts of both Country music fans and the Country music industry alike. This past spring Adcock was nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at the 60th ACM Awards, in addition to selling out music venues from coast-to-coast via multiple headline tours such as the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Gavin Adcock, his Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour, and at present his Need To Tour, which kicked off in May. Adcock will also join superstar Morgan Wallen for select dates on Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour this summer.
