Country Newcomer Eli Tabor Drops Debut EP

Adding a fresh sound to country music, up-and-comer Eli Tabor has released his debut EP ‘Just Me’ this past Friday, which included a brand new track “No Honky Tonk Left In Town.”

The twenty-year-old East Tennessee native’s sound boasts distinct, raspy vocals alongside rich, personal songwriting, allowing listeners to easily recognize his unmistakable artistry. Each of the five tracks on the project are solo-written by the artist himself and reflect his passion for traditional country music, while leaving room for his own style to shine through. Without holding back, Tabor writes how he feels, which can easily be seen in “No Honky Tonk Left In Town.”

Hell even some Coe, this is just bad

Then that lady, she came up to me

There ain’t no honky tonks left in town

There ain’t no place that we can get down

“I started writing just over a year ago and couldn’t stop,” shares Tabor. “I wrote all of these songs on my back porch after work and I have about another 120 or so that are unreleased. “No Honky Tonk Left In Town” is one I wrote about an experience my buddy and I had when we went to a bar in Chattanooga. It’s a fun up-tempo track that I think will resonate with a lot of today’s listeners, and it also shows my love for traditional country music. I hope anyone who gives this project a chance will gain insight on the kind of person I am and how I was raised.”
