Brinley Addington Signs Publishing Deal With SMACK

SMACK has signed a publishing deal with singer-songwriter Brinley Addington.

A Tennessee native, Addington’s passion for music began at a young age – he later moved to Music City in 2008 and quickly built a reputation as a compelling performer and songwriter.

In 2021, Addington earned his first #1 as a writer with Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris’ “Chasing After You” and was named one of Spotify’s Hot Country Standout Songwriters of the Year. Some of his songs have also been recorded by Darius Rucker, Chris Janson, Brantley Gilbert, Parmalee, Tyler Farr and Kameron Marlowe, amongst others. Addington has also released several albums of his own, available on all major digital platforms.
