Big Loud Texas’ Jake Worthington Releases New Single

Big Loud Texas country traditionalist Jake Worthington has released “It Ain’t The Whiskey,” which amassed over 25 million pre-release listens across viral clips teasing the track.

“I tend to write songs from the research department,” shares Worthington. “First year I was married me and my wife found ourselves in the back of a cop car. That’s what this one’s about.”

Written alongside Will Banister, Jeff Hyde and Roger Springer, “It Ain’t The Whiskey” is Worthington at his best.

The new song follows recent collaborations with legendary hall-of-famer Marty Stuart – “I’m The One” – and superstar Miranda Lambert, “Hello Shitty Day.” The latter written by songwriting giants Dean Dillon, Jessie Jo Dillon, Jesse Frasure and Lambert.

Captivating the masses with his honky-tonk stylings, Worthington will continue to bring two-step anthems to venues across the country.
