Back Blocks Music Adds Kirby Mathews As VP Of Publishing

Back Blocks Music, a Nashville-based artist development, management and publishing company, has announced the addition of Kirby Mathews as VP of Publishing. The company has earned a reputation for championing creatives and building long-lasting careers from the ground up and Mathews appointment furthers their recent organizational growth initiatives and reaffirms their commitment to creativity and innovation for its talented roster which includes Ashley Cooke, Blake Pendergrass, Ethan Burdick and Tucker Wetmore.

Mathews brings 10 years of Nashville experience to her new role, where she will oversee the publishing arm for the multi-faceted company. She joins from Riser House Entertainment where she championed a diverse roster of writers including Dallas Wilson, Mitchell Tenpenny, Michael Whitworth and Jake Mitchell. She also previously worked under Dallas Davidson at Play It Again Music and served as the the founding publisher/Creative Director at WinSongs Music Publishing with GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter/producer Chris DeStefano.
