Jay Tyndall Delivers “ROCK-A-BYE”

Today, September 11, North Carolina-born, Nashville-based independent artist Jay Tyndall has released his third single of the year. Titled “ROCK-A-BYE,” the new track blends his contemporary country sound with pop and beach-inspired touches, giving listeners a laid-back, feel-good song from start to finish.

“For me, the song is about holding on to someone who’s already moved on,” shares the up-and-comer. “I wanted to take a lullaby that everybody knows and give it a completely different meaning. The phrase ‘Rock-a-Bye’ can be interpreted differently by everyone, which makes it personal for each listener.”

“Growing up in Eastern North Carolina, the coast has always been a part of my life, so bringing that into the song felt natural,” he adds. “I love that it’s something you can turn up at the beach, yet know that the feeling underneath is real. Sometimes a relationship is over before you’re ready to stop holding on to it.”

Tyndall co-wrote “ROCK-A-BYE” with Max Dasher, Ryan Albritton and Sharayah Daves. Featuring a singalong chorus, polished production and strong instrumentation, the single has all the makings of a song that can stand alongside today’s notable hits and promises to leave a lasting impression.
