Winners Revealed For The 25th Annual Americana Honors & Awards

Molly Tuttle, Ken Pomeroy & Tyler Childers

The Americana Music Association revealed the winners of the 25th Annual Americana Honors & Awards at the Ryman Auditorium yesterday, September 16. Molly Tuttle was named Artist of the Year, Tyler Childers received Album of the Year for his project ’Snipe Hunter,’ Brandi Carlile won Song of the Year with her track “Returning to Myself,” Gillian Welch & David Rawlings were titled Duo/Group of the Year, Ken Pomeroy earned Emerging Act of the Year and Mandy Fer won Instrumentalist of the Year.

Also at the event, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Robert Plant, and Dolly Parton were honored with Americana Lifetime Achievement honors and attendees were treated to performances by Crowe Boys, Flatland Cavalry, Jesse Welles, Kashus Culpepper, Kathleen Edwards, Ken Pomeroy, Chris Stapleton, Margo Price, Molly Tuttle, Robert Plant and more.
